When selecting digital images or photos for a portrait art drawing or painting, it is important to consider the quality and resolution of the image. Digital images or scanned photos must be in JPEG format and sent via email.

 

Since the image will be enlarged, it is best to choose a photo that is clear, has good contrast and good lighting. A photo taken with a digital camera or smartphone is preferred over a printed photo as it will have a much higher resolution.

 

It is also important to select a photo that captures the subject’s personality, with the face being the main focus. Finally, the image should be cropped to the desired size and orientation before being sent.

Fees:

 

• The fees vary according to the size, the number of subjects, objects included, and the complexity involved in the portrait.

 

• 50% down payment (non-refundable). The portrait commences when the Artist has received the down payment.

• 50% final payment. A digital image of the completed portrait will be sent by email for the client’s approval. Upon approval, the final payment is required before the portrait is shipped.

 

• The fees do not include framing, shipping, and handling expenses. The client is responsible for the shipping/handling expenses.
